Kia unveiled the all-new 2014 Sorento at the 2012 LA Auto Show. The new Sorento gets a brand new engine (available as an upgrade) under the hood along with a visual facelift on the exterior. The new powerplant (optional upgrade) delivers 290 hp of max power and 252 lb-ft of max torque. For the 2014 Sorento, a 2.4L Direct Injection 4-Cylinder Engine comes as a default engine - rated at 191 hp and 181 lb-ft, which still is quite decent for a car this size. Electric power steering with three modes (comfort, normal and sport) comes standard with all 2014 Sorento trims.
