The Moto Morini Granpasso H83 is one of the newest models launched by the Italian manufacturer. The new model has a lot to love, but it manages to stand out from the crowd thanks to its capable V-twin engine. The 87 V-Twin, liquid cooled unit is made in Italy and cranks out a maximum power of 118 hp @ 8500 rpm and 103.6 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm. The engine is combined with a similarly sporty six speed transmission and a generous 27 liters fuel tank.

The V-Twin unit is mounted on a high-strength tubular trellis frame which is backed up by a set of capable suspensions. At front you'll find a Marzocchi Magnum fork with 50 mm-diameter upside down legs, with plates in a cast light alloy, while out back there is a twin swing arm combined with a single shock absorber from Ohlins with piggy back tank. Needless to say, the shock absorber is multi-adjustable with external remote device in length, pre-load, rebound and compression damping.

Video: Dodge Challenger Owners Embarked on an End-of-the-World Joyride

End of the World Cruise from Christopher Mayer on Vimeo.

Well, the "end of the world came and went without a hitch and we are all still here.

A group of Dodge Challenger owners, however, went about by their possible final days organizing a special joyride over the last weekend before the end of the Mayan calendar. They even went so far as to call it the "End of the World" Cruise, which pretty much hits the point of why they're doing it.

The joyride happened in California and was organized by the West Coast Challengers Car Club. To pay homage to the magnitude of the impending apocalypse, the group decided to find a destination that carried a rich Indian history.

Their choice was the Agua Caliente Casino and Resort that's owned and operated by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. Maybe they were trying to get some special favors so they would be spared from the possible Armageddon. Or maybe they were just making the most of their time left to give their American muscles one last flexing.

Either way, it's a pretty entertaining video to watch.

GM Full-Size SUVs to have unique interiors - report

Cadillac Escalade Platinum Edition

The end of the parts-bin era?

GM has fallen in love with 'parts-bin' interiors, but the company is reportedly dropping the strategy on their next-generation full-size SUVs.

Car & Driver says the upcoming Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon and Chevrolet Tahoe / Suburban will each have their own unique instrument panels and center stacks. The models are also slated to have different materials, unique control knobs and other "design elements."

According to Chris Hilts, GM's creative manager of interior design, “We went to a lot of [consumer] clinics. What we learned is that truck customers like their interior to feel like a truck. In some of our past experiences, we felt truck customers would like a passenger-car interior."

Hilts also said customers want the interiors to be further differentiated, so the $70,000 Escalade doesn't feel like a $45,000 Tahoe. The designer confirmed there will be some common components, but stressed they will be things that people don't notice.

Alfa Romeo 4C teased for 2013 debut

Alfa Romeo 4C teaser image 26.12.2012

The car to end all cars?

There's been a lot of speculation about when the Alfa Romeo 4C will be introduced, but the company has just confirmed the model will debut in 2013.

Called the "car to end all cars," the 4C is slated to become the spiritual successor to the 8C Competizione which won over buyers despite being more style than substance.

Alfa Romeo has remained surprisingly quiet about specifications, but the production model is expected to feature a turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that develops approximately 230 hp (172 kW). While that doesn't sound like much, the 4C's lightweight construction and dual-clutch transmission could enable the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than five seconds and hit a top speed of roughly 250 km/h (155 mph).

Porsche Pajun expected to be green-lighted - report

Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Concept

Could be launched in 2016 or 2017

Porsche CEO Matthias Mueller recently confirmed plans to launch four new models by 2018 and it looks like the Pajun (codenamed for Panamera Junior) will be one of them.

Sources are indicating the model is poised to be green-lighted after a year of research and evaluation. If the model does get approved, it will be bold step as the Pajun is expected to rival the Audi A6, BMW 5-Series and Mercedes E-Class.

The Pajan would likely come to market in 2016 or 2017 and be a five-door hatchback like its bigger brother. However, there have also been rumors of a coupe and sport wagon variant.

Regardless of the car's appearance, it is expected to ride on the MSB platform and be powered by a variety of six-cylinder engines including:

  • A 3.0-liter V6 TDI with outputs of 260 bhp (194 kW) and 320 bhp (239 kW)
  • A 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine with outputs of 320 bhp (239 kW) and 420 bhp (313 kW)
  • A twin-turbo petrol which produces 520 bhp (388 kW) and 502 lb-ft (680 Nm) of torque

Ford F-150 SVT Raptor overtakes Hummer to become the most popular toy truck

Fisher-Price Power Wheels F-150 Raptor 24.12.2012

A few will likely show up under the Christmas tree

Hummer was put out to pasture years ago, but the brand has continued to be very popular with kids. That's starting to change as Ford has announced the F-150 SVT Raptor has overtaken the ill-fated brand to become the most licensed truck.

While the rugrats in my life will be getting toy sports cars for Christmas - have to teach them while they're young, right? - there's a chance that some of our readers might have picked up popular F-150 Raptor toys from Hot Wheels, Matchbox and Fisher-Price.

According to Mark Bentley, Ford's Global Brand Licensing Manager, "We knew we had a winner on our hands when we first introduced Raptor to the toy and video game companies three years ago." He added, "Licensing executives from all the top brands immediately understood Raptor’s potential and moved quickly to sign agreements with Ford Global Brand Licensing. They have not regretted that decision.”

Lexus execs pushing for a new halo model - report

Lexus LF-LC Blue

Some want a range-topper, some want an entry-level model

Lexus recently built the 500th and last LFA, but that hasn't stopped executives from pushing for a new halo model.

Speaking to Automotive News, Lexus Executive Vice President Kazuo Ohara said "If we want to build a more emotional brand, then we need a halo car." He stopped short of saying a model is in the works, but hinted the brand is "seriously considering" a new coupe.

Unfortunately, the company is at a crossroads as various executives are on both sides of the debate. Global Marketing Chief Mark Templin admits the company got "more out of the LFA" than he anticipated, but wants to focus on capturing younger buyers instead of building a halo vehicle. As he explained, "You don't see a lot of movement between brands in the luxury space" so it's best to attract customers to your camp before they buy a rival product.

Mercedes ML63 AMG "Rezonance ML" by RevoZport

Kirby Garlitos

High powered SUVs don’t come any better than Mercedes’ ML63 AMG. The German automaker’s resident sports utility vehicle has also become quite the appealing lot for aftermarket tuning companies, including RevoZport.

Adept at building aerodynamic kits as well as performance modifications, RevoZport’s program for the ML63 AMG, called the Rezonance ML, certainly fits into that mold. Aesthetically, the M63 AMG was treated to a new aero kit that includes a twin-deck carbon fiber front splitter to go with a roof spoiler, a finned diffuser section, and 30mm wheel arch extensions that enhances the visual appeal of the German SUV by giving it a more aggressive stance. Fittingly, those wheel arches also help in fitting a new set of 22" bespoke forged alloy wheels wrapped in 335-section tires.

RevoZport also gave the ML63 AMG a pretty sturdy engine modification, thanks to a remapped ECU software and the installation of a new carbon induction system and a complete titanium exhaust system, netting the SUV an output of 600 horsepower, an increase from the standard SUV’s output of 518 horsepower.

The history of Aston Martin began back in 1913 when Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford joined forces to sell cars made by Singer. In 2013 the company will be celebrating its centenary and to commemorate the event the company has prepared a series of special events, plus a very cool logo.

The logo has 100 dots in it and has the shape of a nautilus, according to Aston Martin CEO Dr Ulrich Bez, and it represents Aston's progress which is never ending and marks the beginning of a new century for the company. After 100 more years the logo will have 200 dots, at least this is the plan. Let's hope Aston manages to succeed!

Aston Martin describes itself as a company "independent in spirit and ownership, we remain resolute and true to the ethos of creating cars that embrace advanced engineering, yet exude understated elegance."

Gift Idea: Wish Your Car a Merry Christmas With The World's Most Expensive Shampoo

We're sure you have gotten all of your friends and family great Christmas presents, right? However, we are pretty sure there is someone you have forgotten about and that's your car, of course! Luckily, your car is not a very picky person. It only asks that you fill it with premium, open up the throttle once in a while and wash it when you get a chance. The latter is exactly what the gift we are talking about here accomplishes in a rather luxurious way.

This luxury car soap comes from the Scottish specialists in exotic and bespoke car care, Mitchell and King. With this high-end bubbly for your car, Mitchell and King has officially launched the world's most expensive car shampoo, which it has dubbed "SPA." When it comes to car soap, you are usually breaking the bank when you splurge and buy a $20 bottle. Well, SPA will do that and then some, as it will set you back 150, which is about $242 at the current exchange rates. However, we are pretty sure that this price is nothing when compared to the love you have for your cars.

The new SPA shampoo includes the finest cosmetic ingredients and is offered in a custom-engraved crystal decanter. Of course this means the bottle costs more than the shampoo, but you know, when it comes about a present is the exterior pack that makes all the difference. Additionally, you can create your own bespoke fragrance for said shampoo.

Unfortunately, it takes about four weeks to develop this personalized shampoo, so if you order it now, you will end up getting it a little bit after Christmas. Buy hey, all you have to do is reset the date on your car and it’ll never know the difference, right?

To snag up this Cristal Champagne of car shampoos, check out Mitchell and King’s website.

1.

At the end of November it was speculated that Audi may unveil a R10 diesel supercar, but we took that with a grain of salt. To our surprise, Audi quattro gmbh boss, Franciscus Van Meel, has confirmed that such a model is indeed under development and he offered new details on it.

According to Van Meel, the new diesel supercar will be completely different than the R8 and will help transfer Audi's Le Mans-winning race technology to the road. The model will be "the absolute best supercar" and according to Van Meel will be "better than the forthcoming McLaren P1."

He offered no details on the engine, but we expect it to fall be somewhere around 700 horsepower and at least 737 pound-feet of torque. Depending on its weight and aerodynamics, that would give it a 0-to-60 mph sprint time in the 3-second range and top it out in the in the 200 mph range. If realized, these numbers will make the upcoming Audi diesel supercar better than three upcoming monsters: Porsche 918, Ferrari Enzo successor and McLaren P1. With all of that power means that this diesel supercar would likely come in near the 1 million mark.

Stay tuned for more details!

BMW unveiled the M135i back in May, but since then it did not provide any details on the car's performance numbers around the famous Nordschleife track. Since Bimmer decided to withhold this info, the guys over Autoforum.cz took a test of their own and obtained a pretty impressive result. The M135i posted a lap time of 8:05, making it faster than models like Porsche Cayman S or Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. Keep in mind that behind the wheel was not a professional driver, but don't they all use pros in this testing phase.

For those of you who do not remember, the M135i is powered by a 3.0-liter in-line six-cylinder engine with M Performance TwinPower Turbo technology that delivers a total of 320 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 331 pound-feet of torque that is available between 1,300 and 4,500 rpm. The model will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds and hit a top speed of 155 mph.

Tesla Under Investigation by US Government for Use of Foreign Parts

Tesla Model S

Tesla, the automaker famed for being the first to make a concerted effort at bringing an electric sports car to market are reportedly being investigated by US federal authorities. We reported earlier this week that Tesla is speculated to be cash flow positive for the first time since its inception.

However, news has taken a turn for the worse for the California-based automaker. The Washington Times is reporting that the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency has been investigating the company for nearly a year. Normally, an automaker using foreign parts in production of its automobiles is not an issue. Not the case with Tesla.

In early 2010, Tesla received a $465 million loan from the US Department of Energy in an effort to jumpstart the environmentally friendly ambitions of Tesla. One of the main demands made by the government was for components used in production of Tesla’s cars be purchased from US manufacturers. If this term was violated, the loan could be terminated at the discretion of the Department of Energy.

The Washington Times goes further in its report to suggest that the Department of Energy has recently changed its position regarding the investigation, citing that Tesla’s loan “does not have the same ‘buy American’ requirement [as other loans].” We will keep you updated if anything of note surfaces from the investigation.

James Toseland to Break Motorcycle Land-Speed Record

Posted on 12.7.2012 14:00 by
Aravind

Filed under:
| world record | speed | Cars | Car News

Unless you have nerves of steel and tons of experience, no ordinary motorcycle rider can even get past 200 mph. If you are debating it, however, you may want to reserve a hospital room with a good view before doing so, as too many things can go wrong.

If you were to look up "Nerves of steel" in an encyclopedia, James Toseland's smiling face would likely be the lead image, as he announced that he's going to break the motorcycle land-speed record set by American Rocky Robinson. By the way, the record isn't 200 mph. It's 376.363 mph! What's worse is that James is going to break that by 14 mph, which is quite a lot when it comes to setting these land-speed records.

Of course James Toseland is no average Joe. He's a former British bike rider who won the World Superbike championship twice - once in 2004 and once in 2007. So, he does have experience in high-speed 2-wheel motoring and he has the titles to prove it. However, 390 mph does send chills down any experienced racer's spine, and James is no exception. "I am hugely excited about this record attempt but I'm under no illusions as to how difficult it will be," he said.

His current skills wouldn't help as piloting a streamlined bike is totally a different technique. So with the record attempt being scheduled for September 2014, he has plenty of time to master the technique and hone his skills.

The project is led by Alex Macfadzean, a former GP and TT sidecar competitor, and British motorcycle land-speed record holder. Macfadzean also gets support from the staff and students at Derby University. Being a former land-speed record holder, Alex sure does know what he'll be instructing James for the future attempt.

If James does break this record, it will definitely prove to the whole world that we can leap for even greater challenges, in the world of automobiles.

We'll update this article once more details on this heart-thumping record emerge.

The new-generation Land Rover Range Rover is already receiving its second tuning kit — the first one came from Lumma Design — courtesy of Hofele Design. Hofele's package has been dubbed "Royster GT 500" and updates the exterior and the engine of the SUV.

Under the hood is where we are most impressed, as the tuner added a power kit that can be applied to all the engines in the lineup and will increase their respective output by about 20 percent. For the 4.4-liter V-8 engine, for example, the final output number ends up at 410 horses and 531 pound-feet — up from the engine's standard 339 horsepower and 442 lb-ft.

On the exterior Hofele added an additional front spoiler, new designed door panels with "bubbles," and painted the front grille and the new rear apron diffuser in matte black. There is also a new exhaust system with 4-tube stainless steel tailpipes in the style of "interlaced double oval," plus a set of "Reverso II" wheels sized 9-by-20 inches and 10-by-22 inches. The tuner also installed an electric lowering module that can lower the car by up to 40 mm (1.5 inches) at speeds up to 50 mph.

For the interior, customers will get "Bi-Colour" leather in "Star-Light" design combined with lots of decorative elements.

According the Hofele, this upgrade is quick and easy to install, and requires no major modifications. It will be launched in February or March of 2013. Stay tuned for pricing!

Gullwing America has prepared two commemorative cars to celebrate La Carrera Panamericana.

The first one is a Mercedes 300 SL/R powered by a new M-156 V8 6.3-liter engine connected to a new gearbox. The braking system has also been modified and comes with larger calipers. The vehicle features 19-inch monoblock retro-inspired wheels and comes with racing seats and a roll bar.

The Ferrari 340 M/C retains its F116C-V12 5.5-liter engine but adopts a new injection system and a custom clutch. In addition, new racing mufflers and headers have been fitted, along with deep concave staggered mesh-type wheels, racing seats and necessary safety equipment.

Both vehicles will be carried in a Mercedes-Benz-branded transporter that will take them to F1 races and car shows around the world.

BMW 1-Series M sedan in the works - report

2013 BMW M135i

Standard model could be launched in 2015

We're already heard reports that BMW is developing a 1-Series sedan to battle the Mercedes CLA and now comes word that a 1-Series M sedan is in the works to fend off the CLA 45 AMG.

Designed to appeal to buyers in China and the United States, the model could be based on either the rear-wheel drive platform that underpins the 1-Series or the front-wheel drive UKL platform that will debut on the 1-Series GT. The company is reportedly considering both platforms because each has their own advantages - notably cost, packaging and handling.

While there's still a lot of uncertainty about the model, the 1-Series sedan has reportedly been fast-tracked for a 2015 launch. Sources have indicated the model is such a high priority that BMW may have contacted suppliers which could help develop or produce the vehicle.

Engine options will likely carryover from the standard 1-Series, but the M variant is rumored to adopt a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that develops more than 300 HP (221 kW).

Maserati plotting a new car to slot above the Gran Turismo - report

Maserati GranTurismo Sport

Promises to be more powerful than the Gran Turismo

Maserati is in the midst of a major production expansion that includes a new Quattroporte, an entry-level Ghibli, a Levante crossover and possibly a mid-engine sports car. Now, a new report is indicating the company is also considering a model which would be positioned above the Gran Turismo.

Little is known about the car, but a Maserati employee told Autoweek.nl it will be more powerful than the Gran Turismo and have completely different styling. The model sounds like it could be a luxurious coupe which may imply it will be based on the next-generation Gran Turismo or possibly even the Quattroporte.

There's no word on when the model could go into production, but it's probably safe to assume it is several years off.

Maserati's future looks quite promising. It has just unveiled the new Quattroporte, and we are waiting to see the production versions of the Kubang concept and the yet-to-be-named sports car below the current GranTurismo. However, it looks like these are not the only models to be offered by the company, as Autoweek is reporting, via a Maserati employee, that Maserati will soon offer up a new sports car placed above the current GranTurismo.

Said employee told the magazine that this won't be just a special edition of the current GranTurismo, but an entirely new model with completely different bodywork and with a more powerful engine. We believe this engine to be a more powerful version of the current twin-turbocharged V-8 developed for the new Quattroporte.

No other details have been provided, but rumors say the new car will arrive on the market by 2015.

Stay tuned for more details!

Hennessey Venom GT rockets to 230 mph in less than 20 seconds [video]

Features a twin-turbo 7.0-liter V8

Hennessey has released a new video of the Venom GT doing some acceleration testing.

While this wouldn't be terribly exciting with most cars, the Venom GT has a twin-turbo 7.0-liter V8 engine that produces up to 1,244 bhp (928 kW). This gives the model an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 1:2.2 which helps the car run from 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds, 0-200 mph in 15.3 seconds and onto a top speed of 272 mph (440 km/h).

As you can see in the clip, the car easily rockets to 230 mph (370 km/h) in just a tick under 20 seconds. For comparison, the Bugatti Veyron takes 24.2 seconds just to reach 200 mph (322 km/h).

2013 Porsche 911 Targa spied up close

2013 Porsche 911 Targa spy photo 05.12.2012 / Automedia

Could debut early next year

Today we bring a new batch of photos with the upcoming 2013 Porsche 911 Targa.

Just like previous shots, the car wears minimal camouflage and comes with a fake convertible roof that tries to hide the retro rollover bar. Upon closer examination, we can easily see the small rear side window is clearly a fake.

The engine lineup will most likely be borrowed from the standard 911. In other words, expect a 3.4-liter with 345 hp (257 kW) and 288 lb-ft (390 Nm) of torque, along with a 3.8-liter producing 394 hp (294 kW) and 324 lb-ft (440 Nm). Both of them will be connected to either a 7-speed manual or a 7-speed PDK.

The 2013 Porsche 911 Targa should make an official debut next year, possibly in Detroit at NAIAS in January before going on sale thereafter.

2014 Audi RS6 Avant officially unveiled

Audi RS6 Avant 04.12.2012

A super car that thinks it's a wagon

Hot on the heels of this afternoon's leak, Audi has officially unveiled the 2014 RS6 Avant.

Described as a "high-performance sports car for everyday use," the model strikes the perfect balance between looking aggressive and elegant. The front fascia is undeniably sporty as it features large air intakes, matte aluminum trim and a honeycomb mesh grille with quattro badging. Further back there's a tailgate-mounted spoiler, a gloss black rear diffuser, a dual exhaust system and 20-inch alloy wheels.

The sublime styling carries over to the cabin as it is awash with premium materials and high-end accents. Notable highlights include leather / Alcantara sport seats, carbon fiber trim and metallic accents. There's also a flat-bottomed steering wheel, illuminated sill plates and an MMI navigation plus infotainment system. If that's not impressive enough, the model can be equipped with a head-up display, a 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system and internet connectivity.

As expected, the model is powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 560 HP (412 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed tiptronic transmission and a quattro all-wheel drive system with a torque vectoring differential. This enables the wagon to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph), 280 km/h (174 mph) with the optional Dynamic package and 305 km/h (190 mph) with the optional Dynamic plus package.

To maximize fuel efficiency, the engine features start/stop technology and a cylinder-on-demand system which deactivates four-cylinders when they aren't needed. This enables the model to average 9.8 L/100km (24 mpg US) which is roughly 40 percent better than its predecessor.

To keep things under control, the RS6 has high-performance brakes and a specially-developed adaptive air suspension with a 20mm reduced ride height. The company also offers carbon ceramic brakes and an optional sport suspension that uses steel springs and three-way adjustable shock absorbers for reduced body roll and increased stability.

The RS6 Avant will be launched in the U.K. next summer and pricing is expected to start at approximately £77,000.

Future of V-12 Powered BMW 7-Series Still Uncertain

Thanks to the downsizing trend that many top brands have been following lately, we might have to say goodbye to the top-of-the-line V-12 engine in BMW's lineup. As of yet, BMW hasn't given the green light to its inclusion in the next-generation 7-Series.

The V-12 engine has always been the pi ce de r sistance for the flagship BMW. Other than the plethora of creature comforts and gadgets that would make your kids happy, the V-12 engine gave the 7-Series immense power — 544 horses of it — that would make your gearhead friends happy as well. M-Series cars aside, this engine made the BMW 760Li the most powerful and costliest Bimmer ever made. It was more like buying the cheaper, German cousin of the Rolls Royce Ghost.

If it is axed, BMW may replace the hole left by the V-12 with a tuned version of the twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8 engine from the M5. BMW claims the difference between the two is size of the hole burnt in your pocket when it comes to gas consumption.

For people who are planning to buy the flagship limo just for the V-12 engine - likely only a handful of people - don't lose hope yet, as the consideration of this engine is still under review. However, with the downsizing trend picking up pace and popularity, this move seems inevitable.

Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Venet announced

Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Venet

'Fastest artwork ever'

Bugatti has teamed up with French artist Bernar Venet for yet another special edition of the Veyron in Grand Sport guise.

Located in New York, the conceptual artist was asked by Bugatti to come up with something truly special for this week's Art Basel Miami Beach. Running across the vehicle's front fascia and over its flanks are many mathematic and scientific formulas that Bugatti's engineers used while creating the supercar. These formulas are spread over a rusted metal-like finish to give the Veyron a special look.

This theme continues inside where the leather trim and dashboard panels have a rusted look, while the door panels have been covered by bright orange formulas.

Power comes from the familiar W16 8.0-liter turbo engine with 1,001 hp (746 kW) that ensures a top speed of 252 mph (405 km/h). With the roof off, top speed is limited to 224 mph (360 km/h), while with the temporary umbrella-like cloth roof it can reach only 81 mph (130 km/h).

One-off Bugatti Veyrons are nothing new in today's world. Despite their relative commonplace, they are still among the most talked about one-off models in the world.

At the upcoming Art Basel Miami Beach 2012 event, the French automaker unveiled its latest one-off Veyron that was personally designed by renowned French artist Bernar Venet. Bugatti actually commissioned Venet to create the design of the one-off Veyron Grand Sport based on his artistic interpretation.

We're big fans of Venet, particularly his Arcs sculptures. The man is considered one of the finest at his craft and works, and has received many honors, including the title of Chevalier de La Legion d'Honneur. So when Bugatti commissioned Venet to design a one-off Veyron Grand Sport, we anxiously waited to see what he'd come up with.

The result is, well, wow.

Not surprisingly, Venet put some touches of numbers, scientific formulas and mathematical equations on the car's exterior and interior, an allusion to his acclaimed mathematical paintings, which are currently on exhibit at the Art Plural Gallery in Singapore. Equally interesting is the fact that these equations and formulas are the same ones used by Bugatti engineers when they were developing the Veyron. Another signature Venet influence on the Veyron is the rusted-metal finish applied to the supercar, which when you really look at it, makes for a pretty sexy two-tone color.

The Venet-designed Veyron Grand Sport will be on exhibit at the Rubell Family Collection in Miami during Art Basel Miami Beach 2012 from December 6 to 9, 2012.

We'll be the first to admit that we have some sort of auto-crush on the Toyota GT86. Actually, it extends to the Subaru BRZ and the Scion FR-S too but since we're talking about the GT86 here, we're going to give extra love to Toyota's spanking-new sports coupe.

So, when an aftermarket company releases a program for the GT86, our senses become heightened because if there's one thing this world can't have enough of — apart from food and water, that is — it's tuning programs for the GT86.

Swiss tuning firm, Barracuda Racing Wheels, decided to make our day by revealing its own take on the GT86. Despite not carrying any performance mods, BRW's aerodynamic program for the GT86 is downright stunning. The huge rear wing that was installed on the GT86 will definitely catch your attention. But not just an eye-catcher, as it's got some serious purpose too, improving the car's overall handling by adding some needed downforce to keep the sports coupe from flying off the road.

The real stars of BRW's program are the bespoke wheels bolted onto the GT86. These 20-inch alloy rims can be had in a variety of color finishes, including matte black; polished, hi-gloss-black; real-chrome; white-polished; and gun-metal. If those colors aren't enough, Barracuda can also offer them in a variety of candy tones.

Sure, this program for the GT86 doesn't have any performance mods. But rest assured, if you're in the market for aero improvements and new rims for your new Toyota sports coupe, Barracuda Racing Wheels is your hook-up.
