Could debut early next year
Today we bring a new batch of photos with the upcoming 2013 Porsche 911 Targa.
Just like previous shots, the car wears minimal camouflage and comes with a fake convertible roof that tries to hide the retro rollover bar. Upon closer examination, we can easily see the small rear side window is clearly a fake.
The engine lineup will most likely be borrowed from the standard 911. In other words, expect a 3.4-liter with 345 hp (257 kW) and 288 lb-ft (390 Nm) of torque, along with a 3.8-liter producing 394 hp (294 kW) and 324 lb-ft (440 Nm). Both of them will be connected to either a 7-speed manual or a 7-speed PDK.
The 2013 Porsche 911 Targa should make an official debut next year, possibly in Detroit at NAIAS in January before going on sale thereafter.
