Volkswagen Cross up! live in Geneva 06.3.2013
Goes on sale this summer
Volkswagen has introduced the Cross Up! at the Geneva Motor Show.
Based on the five-door hatchback, the Cross up! features ruggedized styling with plastic body cladding and an increased ride height. There's also silver accents and 16-inch alloy wheels with 185/50 tires.
The interior is virtually identical to the standard model but has revised upholstery, painted trim and “cross up!" branded sill plates. Other highlights include power windows / locks, a split folding rear seat and a multifunction display.
Power is provided by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine that develops 75 HP (55 kW). When paired to a five-speed manual transmission, the model averages 4.7 L/100km (50 mpg US / 60.1 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions of 109 g/km.
The Cross Up! will go on sale this summer and German pricing starts at €13,925.
