For New South Wales highway patrol

The New South Wales highway patrol in Australia now has in its inventory a FPV Falcon GT RSPEC.

This is the most powerful vehicle ever made by Ford Australia which in its standard configuration produces 450 hp (335 kW), but for police service it was tweaked to generate 536 hp (400 kW) via new fuel injectors and a bigger exhaust. Fitted with the necessary law-enforcement equipment, the pursuit model is priced at more than 100,000 AUD.

The car is part of a community outreach program and will be used to catch speeding young motorists who are in a hurry. It features the usual radio and speed-monitoring technology along with the necessary lights.

As of now, the 436 hp (325 kW) Holden Special Vehicles V8 used by the Queensland police is the second most powerful police car in Australia.
