The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster will celebrate its official world premiere at the 2012 Los Angeles Motor Show later this month, but according to Carscoop a member of the Teamspeed forums received an invite for the private introduction of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster on Monday, November 12 in Miami, Florida.
The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster features a two-piece roof panel clearly visible by a new center line in the middle of the roof. The removal panels are part of the Targa-style removable roof, which is detachable in two sections.

Underneath the Roadster will share the same characteristics as the Lamborghini Aventador coupe. It will be powered by the same drivetrain as its coupe sibling, a 700 horsepower V12 engine paired with a seven-speed sequential automatic gearbox which transfers the power to all four wheels.
The monocoque is constructed entirely from carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP), a technology which Lamborghini pioneers. This ensures extreme rigidity and performance on the road, as well as a high level of passive safety for the driver and the passenger. It also allows weight reduction, the Aventador coupe weighs just 1,575kg. Expect the Roadster to maintain similar levels of rigidity and weight.
