Ford S-MAX Vignale concept
To come out after Mondeo Vignale
Ford has taken the wraps off the S-MAX Vignale concept at the Milan Design Week in Italy.
Attempting to beautify the MPV segment, Ford's S-MAX Vignale is a stylish concept featuring a hexagonal front grille and an exclusive exterior paint scheme called "Milano Giorgio." The vehicle has received unique 21-inch Vignale alloy wheels and several aluminum inserts to make it look more upmarket compared to the current model.
The premium interior cabin features a leather-covered center console and dashboard while the seats have been wrapped around in "soft-touch" hexagonal quilted leather. The cabin is more spacious than before as a result of using thinner seats and the second row of seats benefits from tablet device-docking stations.
A production version of the Ford S-MAX Vignale will come out after the high-end Mondeo Vignale programmed for a 2015 market launch.
Ford says they have created a range-topping Vignale trim because about half of their customers opt for high-end versions and according to their research approximately 10-15 percent of these clients want an even higher level of specification.
