2015 Dodge Charger facelift

Goes on sale late 2014

The 2015 Dodge Charger facelift has premiered this week at New York Auto Show and will be reaching dealerships by the end of the year.

Dodge's significant refresh for the Charger starts out with a Dart-inspired front fascia matched with a narrower grille and more rounded headlights. They say just about all body panels were altered while the daytime running lights and taillights now benefit from LED technology. Opt for the SXT or RT trim and the fog lights will also pack LEDs.

There's also a new three-piece spoiler which comes standard on the R/T variant that also receives fresh 20-inch alloys. Dodge is offering new paint schemes, a seven-inch TFT customizable digital gauge cluster, eight new cabin trims, a three-spoke steering wheel and a "performance-inspired" electronic shifter.

The 2015 Dodge Charger facelift is powered by a standard Pentastar V6 3.6-liter rated at 292 bhp (218 kW) at 6,350 rpm and 260 lb-ft (353 Nm) at 4,800 rpm. For a bit more grunt, Dodge is also offering a larger HEMI V8 5.7-liter generating 370 bhp (276 kW) and 395 lb-ft (535 Nm) which allows the R/T to reach 60 mph (96 km/h) "in the high-5 seconds." These two engines are coupled to a standard 8-speed TorqueFlight automatic transmission.
