The 2014 KTM 250 XC-F comes with a totally fresh engine, namely a 1-cylinder, 4 stroke, water cooled unit with a displacement 249.91 cm (15.2505 Cu In). The engine features a cutting-edge cylinder head with two overhead camshafts and DLC-coated followers. Moreover, you also get the Keihin Engine Management System with electronic fuel injection and 44mm throttle body which further enhances the engine's performance.
Beside the modern engine, the motorcycle is also equipped with a XC Semi-close ration 6-speed gearbox with a highly compact CSS (coil spring steel) clutch.
Other features worthy of being mentioned include a cast aluminium swingarm, 48mm 4CS Closed Cartridge fork and high-tech Brembo brakes. For 2014 the motorcycle has also received a A new, graphic design with clear lines.
All components are mounted on a state-of-the-art frame made of lightweight, high-strength chromoly steel sections.
