Hot off the Italian Maranello roads and and thanks to CarPassion.it is the most recent spy video and rendered images of the Enzo Ferrari successor the Ferrari F70. Ferrari's new flagship supercar will be powered by a 7.3L V12 (borrowed from the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta) most likely tuned to deliver a blistering 800+ horsepower. It will also be aided by another 100+ hp thanks to KERS (thanks Dr. Feynman) adapted from current Formula 1 racing technologies.

For repairing work of new F-150, Ford Motor will require all repair shops to be certified, reports The Detroit News.
The new aluminium-bodied F-150 will make a debut later this year.
The automaker expects most of its dealers to seek certification, which includes tooling upgrades that will cost between $30,000 and $50,000. The company will chip in $10,000 to any interested dealer with a service shop, the newspaper said.
The 40th-anniversary F-150 will be up to 700 pounds lighter than the current truck. About 70 pounds of weight savings are the result of a new, high-strength steel chassis; the rest come from an all-aluminum body and bed.

Some 47,000 Ford Motor hourly workers in the United States will receive bonus checks totaling more than $413 million in March based on the automaker's performance in the North American market last year, reports The Detroit News.
The per-worker payout of $8,800 tops last year's record of $8,300.
Ford earned a pre-tax profit of $8.8 billion in North America in 2013, led by strong sales of its highly profitable F-Series pickups, its Fusion midsize sedan and its Escape compact crossover.
Based on automakers' anticipated earnings for the year, industry analysts believe more than $800 million in profit-sharing checks will go out to about 130,000 workers.

Our spies have sent us a fresh batch of photos with the upcoming facelift Audi is planning for the A7 Sportback.
The mildly refreshed Audi A7 is likely to carry most of the styling updates seen in the recently facelifted A8, along with the matrix LED headlights which will likely become available on many future high-end Audis. Most of the changes will be found in the front fascia where there will be a more sculpted hood, revised grille and a redesigned bumper. At the back the only changes noticeable are in the taillight graphics and the angular exhaust tips.
Chances are the engine lineup will be carried over from the current model but with the updates implemented in the flagship A8. There could be a newly developed V6 TDI 3.0-liter engine rated at 258 HP (190 kW) but this motor hasn't been confirmed by the Ingolstadt company yet.
The Audi A7 Sportback will likely be unveiled either in March in Geneva or later this year in October at the Paris Motor Show.
Prior Design has created a wide bodykit for the previous generation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W221).
Just like most of Prior Design's kits, this one is made from dura-flex fiber reinforced plastic and encompasses a custom front bumper featuring a lip spoiler and mesh grille inserts. Also noticeable are the beefier side skirts and a different rear bumper incorporating a diffuser while the trunk wears an add-on spoiler.
The tuner has also installed a new hood, front fenders, rear widenings and is offering various types of black alloy wheels matched with a lowered ride height for a more aggressive and imposing stance.
The entire body kit is priced at 6,900 EUR but you will have to pay extra for painting and installation.
BMW has announced plans to offer the 740Ld xDrive in the United States.
Set to debut at the Chicago Auto Show, the model has a 3.0-liter TwinPower Turbo six-cylinder diesel engine that produces 255 bhp (190 kW) and 413 lb-ft (559 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system which enables the sedan to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 6.1 seconds. Official specifications are still pending but BMW says "other models equipped with this engine have seen a 25 – 30 percent improvement in fuel efficiency over their direct gasoline-powered counterparts."
The 740Ld xDrive will go on sale this spring and pricing starts at $83,425 (including a $925 destination and handling).
A large 911 facelift test group was spied recently by our photographers, showing us Porsche plans a minor surgery for the 911 Coupe, Cabriolet and Turbo.
It still feels like Porsche showed off the new 911 (991 generation) recently yet the model came out back in 2011 and now the Stuttgart-based company is preparing a nip and tuck for its iconic model. Spotted here is a large test group somewhere in northern Europe and within the fleet our spies photographed the updated 911 Coupe, Cabriolet and Turbo.
All these models had a slightly reworked front fascia with a tweaked bumper hosting modified air intakes while the daytime running lights were also changed a bit. At the back there was a new rear bumper with side air intakes and mildly changed taillights.
The facelifted Porsche 911 range could be unveiled later this year.

Nissan has displayed the Nissan Sentra NISMO Concept at the 2014 North American International Auto Show, which expands the NISMO lineup.
The Sentra NISMO Concept offers an outstanding balance of premium style, innovative technology and fuel-efficient performance. The body is painted in a custom Bright Pearl White with a unique reflective roof panel.
Exterior modifications start with a deep front fascia with lower LED lights and wide lower grille that match the stock Sentra's standard LED daytime running rights and upper grille. It also has a wide lower front spoiler and integrated side sills. A custom rear spoiler and center rear fog lamp complete the look. It gets 19-inch RAYS aluminum-alloy wheels.
The Sentra NISMO Concept interior features an array of NISMO-inspired upgrades, including Recaro "Sportster" front seats with custom black leather and Alcantara appointments. The rear seats are treated to a mix of perforated black Alcantara in a similar pattern to the front seats. Alcantara is also used for the pillars and headliner.
The 2014 Nissan Sentra Nismo Concept is powered by a 1.8-liter DOHC 16-valve inline 4-cylinder engine producing 240 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The power is enough to show its taillights to ordinary sedans.

15 Mercedes McLaren SLR's (which included 2 Stirling Moss SLR) took part in a 6 day SLR Club Tour Adriatica along the Croatian coast of the Adriatic sea and covered 1000km (MAP). The tour tarted in the city of Zagreb and travelled through Istria, Rovinj, Zadar, Split, Hvar and finally ending up in Dubrovnik. The route was over 600km long and the pictures speak for themselves

The Piaggio Typhoon 124 comes with a pretty a basic construction, but this doesn't mean that it isn't a pretty practical machine. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the Piaggio Typhoon 125 can deal great with congested traffic situations and you won't have any problems with the parking either. With a starting price of $2,899 it is also pretty affordable compared to its competitors.
The scooter is equipped with a 124cc, single cylinder 4-stroke engine which churns out a maximum torque of 8.2 Nm at 7,500 Rpm. The unit sends its power to the rear wheel through a CVT transmission and can send to scooter to a maximum speed of 60 Mph. As far as efficiency is concerned, the Piaggio Typhoon 125 scores a gas mileage of 90 mpg.
Other features include a 1.8 G gas tank, 12 inch wheels and tubeles tires.

Jaguar's got a pair of special edition XK models it's planning to release in the UK, making us here in America green with envy.
As the more luxury oriented XK model, the Signature Edition has some pretty cool luxury amenities, even if it seems to have been short-changed in the engine department.
Then again, customers probably won't mind because of the luxurious interior upgrade Jaguar gave to the model. Seems appropriate that an XK comes with standard soft-grain leather luxury seats that are available in a choice of either Ivory or Charcoal finishes. If that isn't enough, the cabin also features a pretty smooth canvas Suedecloth headliner, Figured Ebony veneers and Bright Metal sport pedals. As far as the wheels go, the XK Signature gets the treat of having the fancier set of wheels, which in this case are 20-inch Kalimnos wheels.
Unfortunately for the XK Signature, Jaguar opted to give the model the base 5.0-liter, V-8 engine that "only" produces 385 horsepower, which is good enough to allow the sports coupe to break 60 mph in 5.2 seconds to go with a top speed of 155 mph. Like the XK Dynamic R, the XK Signature's engine is mated to a six-speed ZF automatic gearbox with steering wheel-mounted paddles.
Another shared system between the two models is the Dynamic Stability Control system, which can be configured in four different modes - Normal, Winter, TracDSC and DSC Off - giving the driver suitable choices on how much computer help he's going to need while driving on the road.
Like the XK Dynamic R, customers can choose from a variety of colors for the XK Signature, including Polaris White, Ultimate Black, Stratus Grey, Italian Racing Red, Dark Sapphire and British Racing Green.

General Motors appointed Chuck Stevens as executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO), effective Jan. 15.
Stevens succeeds Dan Ammann, who becomes the company president on Jan. 15, GM said in a statement.
Stevens will report to Mary Barra, who becomes GM CEO on Jan. 15.
Previously, Stevens was CFO of GM North America. He became CFO in January 2010 and led GM’s financial operations for U.S. Sales, Service and Marketing, GM Canada, GM Mexico, North America Manufacturing, Customer Care and Aftersales, and Global Connected Consumer.
Stevens previously held leadership positions in China, Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand. He began his career at Buick Motor Division in 1983.

A new British sports car will be launched in 2014 by David Brown Automotive, a company formed by British businessman David Brown.
The new sports company will be designed by an experienced design team led by Alan Mobberley, who was chief designer at Land Rover for 19 years, according to a news release.
The sports car, dubbed Project Judi, will be revealed in April. It will combine a classically-inspired exterior design, with the latest in performance, dynamics, technology, comfort and refinement.
Limited cars will be offered for the sale.
More details on the new car, including its name, will be announced closer to the car’s launch date.

Datsun has announced plans to introduce a new concept at the Delhi Auto Expo.
The company declined to release pictures but said the concept was "created to appeal to the new generation of young and optimistic people." Datsun went on to say the concept is "distinctive and stylish" and will be a "step forward in terms of product allure in the segment."
Datsun will also showcase the GO and GO+ as well as two accessorized versions of the GO.
The Delhi Auto Expo kicks off on February 5th, so expect to learn more in the coming weeks.
Opel has officially unveiled the 2014 Meriva at the Brussels Motor Show.
Modestly revised, the MPV has been equipped with a new grille, additional chrome trim and restyled headlights which can be ordered with optional LED daytime running lights.
Interior changes are limited but the model can be equipped with a new IntelliLink infotainment system that has a seven-inch display, a new interface and faster operation. The infotainment system also has a CD player, USB connectivity and Bluetooth phone connectivity and audio streaming.
Under the hood, there's a new 1.6-liter CDTI engine that replaces the previous 1.3- and 1.7-liter units. At launch, the engine will produce 136 HP (100 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque and enable the model to average 4.4 L/100km (53.4 mpg US / 64.2 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions of 116 g/km.
In the future, the company will offer two versions with 110 HP (81 kW) and one of them will be able to average 3.8 L/100km (61.9 mpg US / 74.3 mpg UK) with CO2 emissions of 99 g/km.
The engines will be connected to new "low-friction" transmissions which promise to be smoother and deliver more precise gear changes.
According to Opel's Vice President Sales & Aftersales, Peter Christian Küspert, "The Opel Meriva has set the standard in the segment – if not in the industry – for ergonomics, affordable flexibility and quality. Now it offers an even more comfortable overall driving experience thanks to state-of-the-art technologies – a new range of Euro 6 certified engines including a last generation 1.6 CDTI that is the most silent in its class; new transmissions that offer smoother and crisper shifting; and a new generation Opel IntelliLink infotainment system that integrates smartphone functionalities into the vehicles."
