Spy video shows unknown Porsche 911 prototype testing, could be the Carrera 4 GTS

Could slot between 4S and Turbo

A new video recorded at the Nürburgring shows what appears to be a new version of the Porsche 911 (991).

Almost a month ago our spies grabbed on camera an unknown Porsche 911 prototype testing at the famed German circuit. The same car has returned in a spy video and shows a few similarities with the 4S and Turbo versions. Chances are we are dealing with the Carrera 4 GTS version which will be slotted between the two models.

The car grabbed in this footage features wider wheel arches and a quad exhaust setup, while the rear end mimics the looks of the Turbo / Turbo S. The prototype is sporting a rear wing (which isn't fixed) in the raised position and also comes with some aero tweaks below the front lip and around the wheel arches.

Output of this turbocharged model will probably be higher than 4S' 400 bhp (294 kW) but lower than the Turbo's 513 bhp (383 kW).
