Hyundai Elantra Touring Replacement Coming Next Year

Hyundai i30

A Hyundai Elantra compact wagon, known as the i30 in most of the world, is heading to the U.S. in May, according to Agence France-Presse.

The i30, shown above, made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show and is a likely replacement for the Elantra Touring, which is currently on sale.

Through August, the Elantra Touring has composed about 8% of the Elantra's 2011 sales, with 10,303 vehicles sold. There's no word from Hyundai about whether the new wagon will keep the Elantra Touring moniker.
