Following last weekend's rumor, Mercedes-Benz has officially revealed the S65 AMG Coupe.

As expected, the styling differences between the S65 AMG Coupe and the V8-powered S63 AMG Coupe are subtle at best as Mercedes-Benz and AMG continue to implement a tastefully restrained look for their high-powered models. Some of the changes include a shinier mesh for the front grille and vents, yellow brake calipers instead of red, unique wheels along with a more prominent rear diffuser and the compulsory "V12 BITURBO" badging.

Under the hood is a V12 6.0-liter twin-turbo engine sourced from the S65 AMG Sedan outputting 630 PS (463 kW) and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque. It will cover the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 4.1 seconds (0.2s faster than S63 AMG Coupe) before hitting an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h) in Europe and 186 mph (299 km/h) in United States.

Power is channeled exclusively to the rear wheels through an AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC while the sports Magic Body Control suspension benefits from the already familiar cruve tilting function. It rides on 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels wrapped around in 255/40 R 20 front and 285/35 R 20 rear tires and for more money it can be configured with a ceramic compound brake system which is 20 percent lighter.

Already available on order in Germany, the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG Coupe kicks off at 244,009.50 EUR (VAT included) and will go on sale towards the end of September while United States will get it late this year.
