Looks huge for a MINI

The overweight 2015 MINI Clubman has been grabbed on camera by our spy photographers once again, this time testing on the public roads of Germany.

MINI purists are certainly against seeing such a big model being added to the range but there's nothing they can do as BMW wants to expand the customer base of the brand by offering a wider variety of models. Looking a lot bigger than the current model, the new Clubman will feature front-hinged rear doors which will provide the passengers with an easier entrance to the back seats.

This MINI wagon/estate comes with a split gate with side-opening doors and will offer considerably more cargo space. It will likely receive the same engines as the regular model, including a 134 bhp (100 kW) 3-cylinder 1.5-liter, a 114 bhp (85 kW) 3-cylinder 1.5-liter diesel and a 189 bhp (141 kW) 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo also available with 217 bhp (162 kW).

Look for a 2014 launch as a 2015 model year.
