Ford brings back 1940 Coupe, available for order [video]

Arriving at SEMA next week.

The Blue Oval company has decided to bring back to life the classic 1940 Ford Coupe.

It is already available for ordering, along with the 1965-1970 Mustang bodies. Scheduled to make a debut at SEMA next week, the Coupe’s rustproof body is manufactured from high-strength steel and it’s assembled by using modern welding techniques.

Ford will display at the show in Las Vegas a custom 1940 Coupe hot rod created using a reproduction body and a new body shell, which are available for $11,900 + shipping. This car features a V8 5.0-liter engine connected to a 4-speed automatic transmission and has a Mustang II front suspension.
