Powersliding a 1M EUR car
Our friend Marchettino recently filmed Pagani's test driver Davide Testi having fun with the Huayra.
A Pagani Huayra covered in a gold and grey matte wrap drew a lot of attention last weekend at Monza where it was driven by the company's test driver Davide Testi who powerslided the 1M+ EUR car. The vehicle in question is actually the Huayra used for the press reviews known as the Prototype 5.
Pagani's latest supercar is powered by an AMG 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo engine developing 700 bhp (522 kW) and a maximum torque of 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm). Tipping the scales at 1,350 kg (2,975 lbs), the Huayra will need only 3.3 seconds until 62 mph (100 km/h) and will continue to accelerate until hitting a top speed of 230 mph (370 km/h).
It has a starting price of 1,050,000 EUR but once you add a full carbon bodywork the price immediately jumps to 1,162,500 EUR. Other optional equipment carrying an exorbitant price tag includes the 4,900 EUR rearview camera, 1,500 EUR rear parking sensors and 3,750 EUR for the painted brake calipers. There's also a matching seven-piece luggage set increasing the bill by 14,950 EUR.
