Nissan UK has disclosed full pricing information for the second-gen Qashqai which starts at 17,595 GBP.
The 2014 Qashqai was unveiled about a week ago and now Nissan has shared details about its price tag in the UK market where it will be available in four trim levels: Visia, Acenta, Acenta Premium and Tekna. The base model kicks off at 17,595 GBP and comes with standard goodies like automatic air conditioning, five-inch color HD infotainment display, cruise control, tire pressure monitoring, chassis control and hill start assist.
Acenta starts at 19,145 GBP and adds dual-zone automatic climate control, 17-inch wheels, leather steering wheel and gear knob, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights and front fog lamps. Acenta Premium (from 20,995 GBP) also includes NissanConnect infotainment system with DAB radio, as well as a rear view camera, start button, panoramic glass roof and parking sensors. There are several safety systems like lane departure warning, high beam assist and front collision avoidance.
Opt for the range-topping Tekna model and you will have to pay 23,145 GBP to get Bi-LED headlights with high-beam assist and Safety Shield with Traffic Signal Recognition. Qashqai Tekna also has 19-inch alloys, part leather upholstery, roof rails and heated seats.
Gasoline engines include a 115 HP (85 kW) 1.2-liter DiG-T and a more powerful 1.6-liter DiG-T with 150 HP (110 kW) which will be available starting fall 2014. Diesel lineup encompasses a 1.5-liter dCi rated at 110 HP (81 kW) and a 1.6-liter dCi with 130 HP (96 kW). Front-wheel drive will be standard, but for an additional cost the 2014 Qashqai can get an all-wheel drive setup. These engines are linked to either a six-speed manual gearbox or an optional all-new Xtronic automatic transmission.
