SsangYong SIV-1 concept, 1280, 08.2.2013
Making up for past sins
SsangYong isn't known for making the most attractive automobiles, but that could soon be changing if the SIV-1 concept is any indication.
Set to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show and not to be confused with the previous XIV-1, the SIV-1 is a stylish crossover with bulging fenders, a sloping roofline and a compact greenhouse. There's also an attractive front fascia with a rounded grille and LED-infused headlights. The sporty styling carries around out back as the model has a tailgate-mounted spoiler, a dual exhaust system and distinctive taillights.
There's no word on performance specifications, but the model reportedly measures 4500mm long, 1880mm wide and 1640mm tall with a wheelbase that spans 2700mm.
