Lamborghini Aventador Roadster
First deliveries scheduled for this summer
The Lamborghini Aventador Roadster was introduced less than three months ago, but that hasn't stopped the company from banking over a year's worth of pre-orders.
Auto Motor und Sport is reporting the company's drop top has been a huge hit with customers as the order books are filled up through the summer of 2014. This likely means anyone who hasn't pre-ordered the model will have to face a lengthy wait or pay a heavy premium to get the model earlier.
As a refresher, the Aventador Roadster is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine that develops 700 HP (515 kW) and 690 Nm (507 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.0 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
European pricing starts at €300,000 while Americans have to cough up $441,600 (excluding taxes).
