Radical change

A WCF reader has sent us a batch of spy photos with the upcoming 2013 Citroen C4 Picasso.

Looking a lot different than the outgoing model, the new generation of the C4 Picasso features rather unique split headlamp and turn signals clusters, a look which makes us think of the Nissan Juke but with a better design.

It also sports the firm's latest double chevron grille and has a beefy chrome frame running around the edges of the three large side glasses, while the less innovative back has Volkswagen Golf-inspired LED taillights.

The new C4 Picasso will ride on the EMP2 platform (Efficient Modular Platform 2) developed by PSA Peugeot Citroen which makes use of high-strength steel, aluminum and composites. Thanks to this change, the new model could be 154 lbs (70 kg) less heavy than its predecessor.

Thanks to Stéphane Rousseau for sending the pics!
