Arriving in 2015 with minor changes

The facelifted Audi RS Q3 has been spied once again undergoing testing ahead of next year's launch.

It was only last fall when the RS Q3 went effectively on sale and it seems Audi is preparing a mild cosmetic makeover which will likely be introduced next March at the Geneva Motor Show. Seeing the RS badge on a Q model is still hard to swallow for some people but Audi believes there is a market for a hot crossover with aggressive looks.

The car's main selling point is without any doubt its 5-cylinder, 2.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine which will likely be carried over onto the facelift with the same 310 PS (228 kW) and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) output. Tipping the scales at 1,730 kg (3,814 lbs), the RS Q3 sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.5 seconds and tops out at 155 mph (250 km/h).

The facelift will bring slightly modified front and rear bumpers together with LED-infused headlights and perhaps tweaked taillight graphics. Some say it could borrow the TT's 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster but this hasn't been confirmed yet.

Koenigsegg One:1 detailed on video at Goodwood

"World's first megacar"

The Koenigsegg One:1 is the star of a video taken at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

So far Koenigsegg has built only two units of the One:1 and both of them are at Goodwood to the delight of the audience. Billed as the "world's first megacar", the One:1 weighs 1,360 kg (all fluids, 50 percent fuel) and offers 1,360 PS (1,000 kW) from its uprated aluminum twin-turbo V8 5.0-liter engine sourced from the Agera R and further tweaked to generate a whopping 1,371 Nm (1,011 lb-ft) of torque at 6,000 rpm.

Power of the engine - which takes three weeks to build - is channeled to the carbon fiber wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox developed specifically for this model which grants the One:1 with a 0-248.5 mph (0-400 km/h) run in only 20 seconds onto an estimated (and simulated) top speed of more than 273 mph (440 km/h).

Only six customer cars are being built and obviously all of them have already been sold at a rumored price tag of 2M USD.

Won't exceed Mulsanne's pricing

Bentley boss Wolfgang Dürheimer has announced the company's first SUV will cost more than 130,000 GBP.

In an interview given to Autocar at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Bentley's chief Wolfgang Dürheimer said the model will be more expensive than current luxury SUVs and will kick off at above 130,000 GBP (about 221,400 USD / 162,200 EUR). The Mulsanne will remain Bentley’s flagship model so the SUV will not go into its pricing territory (228,200 GBP).

Scheduled for a 2016 market launch, the Bentley SUV - engineered to reach 200 mph - is going to ride on the MLB Evo platform and is expected to get a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo and the 6.0-liter W12 motor along with a plug-in hybrid version confirmed for 2017.

In terms of exterior styling it will likely combine design cues from the EXP 9 F concept, Continental GT and Flying Spur while on the inside there will be a digital instrument cluster likely derived from the 2014 Audi TT, together with metallic accents, a wood trim and circular air vents.

The 2016 Bentley SUV will be manufactured at home in Crewe, UK where the company plans on hiring 1,000 people and will also invest 800M GBP to get the facility ready for the SUV.

Volkswagen has announced the availability of a Premium Package for the 2014 Beetle Coupe and Convertible.

The optional kit will be available next month and will be offered for both the coupe and cabrio Beetle equipped with the 1.8T or the TDI Clean Diesel engine. It comes with goodies previously offered only on the R-Line trim along with new ones like bi-xenon automatic headlights, climatronic automatic climate control, RNS 510 with navigation and satellite radio, iPhone 5 cradle and rain-sensing windshield wipers.

The 1.8T model rides on white 19-inch Tornado alloy wheels while the TDI model is equipped with 18-inch Disc rims that have a Galvano Grey finish. The 1.8T also has a sports suspension and all of them are equipped with R-Line bumpers with fog lights, grey door sills and mirror caps, Fender audio system, auto-dimming rearview mirror, contrast stitching and unique seating surfaces with leather inserts.

Customers have the possibility of selecting from Deep Black, Platinum Gray and Oryx White exterior colors for both models, with pricing kicking off at 27,355 USD for the 1.8T Coupe. Up next is the TDI Coupe at 29,355 USD, followed by the 1.8T Convertible at 30,755 USD and the TDI Convertible at 32,755 USD. All these prices exclude the extra 820 USD destination and handling charges.

About 30 years ago, a history was marked at Peugeot with introduction of the 205 GTi in 1984. The GTi badge has been featuring performance versions of the Peugeot's production car ever since then.

To commemorate the 30th anniversary, Peugeot unveiled the 208 GTi 30th Anniversary Limited Edition at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The 208 GTi 30th delivers a more intense driving sensation enhanced with a new Euro6 1.6-litre THP petrol engine developing 300Nm of torque and maximum power increased to a symbolic 208hp. Mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, it has exceptional traction and efficiency assured through the specification of a Torsen differential, specific suspension and steering settings. The exterior can also be distinguished with an optional paint finish - a coupe franche - where the rear is separated distinctively by a sharp dividing line from which the colours are cleanly divided.

Its sporty and assertive temperament can also been seen in its stance and look, in particularly by its dual-material livery, separated by a sharp dividing line. It will be presented to the public at the forthcoming 2014 Paris Motor Show, with sales starting in November 2014.

When Fiat Chrysler executives were spilling the beans last May about the big-picture-plans concerning nearly every single product under the corporate umbrella, Ram Trucks CEO Reid Bigland got his turn to divulge future product plans for Ram. Well, it seems we're only a week away from that first debut.

Ram Trucks released an invitation to a livestream event scheduled for Thursday, June 26th at 11 a.m. EDT. The invitation simply says it's a "new product announcement." What exactly Ram is announcing, we can't be completely sure. However, we have a pretty strong suspicion.

Within last month's Fiat Chrysler five-year plan layout, Ram was listed as giving a mid-cycle refresh to the Ram 1500 for the 2015 model year. Though we haven't seen any camouflaged 1500s roaming the streets, we're sure this will be topic on the 26th.

Like always, the heavy-duty lineup gets its refresh the following year - and Fiat Chrysler's plan follows that pattern. The Ram 1500's refresh for 2015 will serve to keep the truck selling big numbers until its next scheduled generation change in 2017. Then the HD cycle starts over again with new 2500 and 3500 trucks rolling out in 2018.

Spy Shots: 2015 Ford Focus RS Caught During its First Testing Session

Rumors about Ford's planned revival of the Focus RS have been flying around since late 2013, with many sources claiming the hot hatch will return with as much as 330 horsepower on tap. As of 06/26/2014, the Focus RS is no longer a rumor, as our skilled paparazzi caught the upcoming rocket testing disguised as a Focus ST.

Don't let the "ST" badge around back fool you, this mule is more than that, with plenty of details giving its true identity away. Look closer at the front end's uncamouflaged area and you'll notice a lip spoiler and a larger air intake in the lower apron. Of course, that's not what the front bumper will look like in production form, but the intercooler seen in the spy shots is certainly different from the one fitted on the Focus ST.

The mule's RS-ness becomes even more obvious around back, where a different exhaust pipe configuration peeks out underneath the bumper. Whereas the ST has a center-mounted, twin-pipe arrangement, the RS mule comes with separate tips placed toward the sides. Lastly, the camouflaged roof-mounted spoiler appears to sport a new design.

Mercedes-Benz shows S-Class scale models

Mercedes-Benz is now selling a trio of 2014 S-Class miniatures co-developed with Herpa, Schuco and Norev.

The cheapest 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class you can buy would have to be a 1:87 scale model made by Herpa which is available in blue anthracite, diamond white metallic bright and magnetite black. The miniature S-Class is about 5.8 cm long and has more than 26 individual parts. It costs 15.90 EUR and comes along with a printed plinth and a presentation case.

Schuco is offering a 1:42 scale model of the S500 long wheelbase version featuring multi-spoke alloys, LED intelligent light system and a panoramic sliding sunroof. This one is around 12 cm long and encompasses more than 55 components. The hand-assembled model costs 29.90 EUR and can be ordered in diamond silver, diamond white metallic bright or magnetite black. It also comes bundled with a printed plinth and presentation case.

The most expensive miniature S-Class is the 1:18 scale model created by Norev which has more than 145 individual parts. It's also based on the S500 long wheelbase and is approximately 29 cm long. Features include a panoramic sliding roof, multi-spoke alloy wheels and the LED system mentioned above. You can open its doors, hood and boot lid. It can be ordered in diamond white metallic bright, iridium silver or blue anthracite for 79.90 EUR. For this money you will also get a pair of gloves.

These prices are applicable in Germany and include 19 percent VAT. 

Spyker B6 Venator Spyder concept to debut at Pebble Beach

Should have a mid-mounted V6 engine with 375+ HP

Skyper announced plans to introduce a B6 Venator Spyder later this year and a new report is indicating it will be unveiled at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

Details are limited but Autoblog says a source has confirmed the model will debut at the classic car show next month. It will reportedly be a concept in the same vein as the B6 Venator Coupe. This means the model will likely feature a carbon fiber body, an aluminum chassis and a mid-mounted V6 engine that develops more than 375 HP (276 kW).

The B6 Venator Coupe is slated to go into production early next year and be sold in Asia, Europe, India and the Middle East. It will eventually arrive in the United States, in the fall of 2014, where it will cost approximately $150,000.

Volkswagen has unveiled the Beetle GRC, ahead of its debut at the Red Bull Global Rallycross race this weekend.

Set to be driven by Tanner Foust and Scott Speed, the rally car has been equipped with an aggressive front bumper and a ventilated hood. We can also see aerodynamic mirrors, side scoops and a massive rear wing. Other notable highlights include high-performance brakes, an upgraded suspension, limited-slip differentials and 17-inch alloy wheels with Yokohama competition tires.

Power is provided by a turbocharged 1.6-liter TSI four-cylinder engine that develops 544 bhp (405 kW). It is connected to a six-speed sequential transmission and an all-wheel-drive system which enables the car to rocket from 0-60 mph in just 2.1 seconds.

Ferrari is celebrating the opening of their first Tailor-Made Center in the Asia Pacific region by unveiling the F12berlinetta Polo and FF Dressage Editions.

First up, the F12berlinetta Polo has a Bianco Italia Opaco exterior with navy blue racing stripes on the hood. The two-tone styling continues in the cabin as there's blue and white leather seats, white contrast stitching and blue carbon fiber trim.

The FF Dressage, on the other hand, has a Black Piano Nero exterior and a bespoke cabin with saddle brown leather upholstery and "Year of the Horse" logos on the steering wheel and center console. The seats also have a "grid-pattern" sewn into them which promises to make them more comfortable and composing.

Bentley Continental GT3-R 2015

Bentley will be unveiling hand-built 2015 Continental GT3-R towards the end of this year. The new Continental GT3-R is inspired by the new Continental GT3 race car that stormed to victory at the second round of the Blancpain Endurance Series at Silverstone, the first UK race for Bentley for 84 years. The car production will be limited only 300 units.

The 2015 Bentley Continental GT3-R will be powered by a high-performance 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 race-proven engine which delivers 572 hp of max power and 700 Nm of peak torque. Along with this powerful power plant, the car has shed 100 kg and shortened gearing, which results in the fastest-accelerating Bentley ever. The Continental GT3-R goes from 0 to 60mph in just 3.6 seconds (0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds).

Audi A6 TDI - Driven

When it comes to press cars and review cars, there are few machines I know more intimately than the 2014 Audi A6 TDI. Last year I joined a collection of fellow lunatics and set out on a 48-hour cannonball run from LA to New York City to test out Audi's new 3.0-liter V-6 diesel engine, and really test its real-world fuel economy. After 46 hours and nearly 3,000 miles, I had spent several hours in every seat, tried to eat, sleep, and work inside of its wood-filled interior, and used almost every gadget it contained to keep myself entertained.

I have made lots of big road trips in lots of cars including the Nissan GT-R and Porsche Cayman S, but this was a whole new experience.

After such an experience, I have lots of things to say about Audi's full-size luxury sedan. From equipment and pricing to performance and fuel economy, the Audi made major impressions. But where all those impressions good, would I do the trip again, and do I think it's a car worth spending money on?

2015 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Leaked as Scale Model

As if the 2015 Porsche 911 GT3 RS story wasn't complicated enough, a new photo showing a possible scale model of the high-performance sports car just surfaced the Internet to pour more fuel on the fire. It may sound inappropriate for a brand-new vehicle to break cover via a scale model, which is supposed to hit specialized stores and showrooms after the car benefits from the necessary publicity, but it happened before.

For instance, the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class made it onto the Web in the form of a 1:18 diecast model weeks before the German manufacturer staged its grand unveiling. Of course, that doesn't mean the Porsche in the adjacent photo is the actual 911 GT3 RS, but we can't help notice a few details we're already familiar with.

Firstly, the scale model is clearly based on the latest iteration of the 911 GT3. Secondly, the wheels are 100 percent similar to those seen in the GT3 RS spy shots we received earlier this year.

Queen Elizabeth II's 2001 Daimler Super V8 LWB limousine is going up for auction on August 31st.

The specially-built model was used by the Queen who drove it around Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace. Over the course of three years, the Queen managed to put 15,242 miles (24,529 km) on the odometer.

Since the model was built for the monarch, it features a number of special touches including a center armrest with a slide out section that holds a handbag. The car also has blue flashing strobes lights, non-functional communications equipment and a supercharged 4.0-liter V8 engine that develops 375 bhp (280 kW).

The car is being sold by Historics at Brooklands and is expected to fetch £25,000 - £30,000 ($38,275 - $45,935 / €28,815 - €34,580).

Might be a new special edition

We're eagerly awaiting the Lamborghini Gallardo successor, but the company appears to be preparing another special edition of their aging supercar.

The Supercarteam managed to snap a handful of photos of a mysterious prototype they're calling the Gallardo Squadra Corsa. Little is known about the model but the website indicates it could be a facelifted version of the Super Trofeo Stradale.

Nothing is official but the camouflage suggests the model will come equipped with a new front bumper and revised side skirts. We can also see a prominent rear wing and a sporty rear diffuser.

Interestingly, the model bears a resemblance to the Gallardo GT3 Squadra Corse which was jointly-developed with Reiter Engineering. This could imply the Squadra Corsa name is a bit of a misnomer but hopefully we'll find out soon enough.

Mercedes teases the Silver Arrow of the Seas [video]

Mercedes has announced plans to introduce a luxury yacht at the Monaco Yacht Show in September.

Dubbed the "Silver Arrow of the Seas," the 14 meter (46 feet) long Gran Turismo combines the "typical design features of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars with innovations that were previously unknown in the boatbuilding industry."

The model was created with the assistance of Mercedes designers and promises to feature "innovative versatility and intelligent use of space." Mercedes also revealed the yacht is suitable for day excursions but also has sleeping quarters for an undisclosed number of people.

The boat will be built by Silver Arrow Marine and promises to be a "new class of motor yacht" for a "new class of owner."

A design study was recently presented at the Mercedes-Benz Style exhibition at the Porto Montenegro marina, so expect to learn more in the coming weeks.

 

New Chevrolet Spark due in 2015, Sonic / Aveo delayed - report

The Chevrolet Spark and Sonic (aka Aveo) are relatively new in the United States but the cars have been on sale in international markets for a few years. As a result, General Motor is gearing for the production of the next-generation of models.

According to South Korean labor union spokesman Choi Jong-hak, the next-generation Spark will go into production in early 2015. The Aveo, on the other hand, has been pushed back to 2016 from its original launch date of late 2015.

General Motors declined to comment on the report but Jong-hak said the information was given to union negotiators during wage talks last week. Unfortunately, there's no word on what we can expect but we should learn more in the coming years.

McLaren open to a deeper partnership with Honda - report

Companies could sign a bilateral technical arrangement

Honda and McLaren are reportedly considering a broader partnership than their previously announced Formula 1 engine supply deal.

Speaking to Autocar, McLaren F1 boss Martin Whitmarsh said the current deal is a "pure Formula 1 contract but we’ve already been looking at automotive technology and we’re sharing that very openly." He went on to say "Our road car strategy, at the moment, has no other automotive partner and Honda would be a good place to collaborate.”

Whitmarsh declined to go into specifics but speculation suggests the companies could sign a bilateral technical arrangement which would benefit road-going models from both automakers.

While a broader partnership sounds tantalizing Whitmarsh cautioned any benefits, from the proposed tie-up, would be several years off.

Alfa Romeo 4C safety car unveiled

Alfa Romeo has unveiled their 4C safety car, ahead of its debut at the FIM World Superbike Championship this weekend.

Dressed to impress, the one-off model has a two-tone exterior with red, white and green stripes running the length of the body.

Like the standard model, the safety car is powered by a 1.75-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 240 HP (176 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a dual-clutch transmission which enables the model to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 155 mph (250 km/h).

According to Alfa Romeo UK Head Damien Dally, “Alfa Romeo is a proud sponsor of the FIM World Superbike Championship having been associated with the series for seven years now. As we prepare to launch the Alfa 4C here in the UK, it’s fantastic to be able to showcase this car to the public for a second time as it takes to the prestigious Silverstone circuit.”

Audi has announced the 2014 RS 7 will be priced from $104,900 in the United States.

Set to arrive at dealerships this fall, the model is distinguished by modified bumpers, a honeycomb grille and two elliptical tailpipes. The hatchback can also be equipped with optional matte aluminum or carbon fiber accents.

The sporty styling carries over to the cabin as it features a flat-bottomed steering wheel, Valcona leather sport seats and an RS-specific shift knob. The model also has carbon fiber trim, aluminum pedals and an MMI Touch infotainment system with internet connectivity.

Power is provided by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter TFSI V8 engine that develops 560 HP (412 kW) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a quattro all-wheel drive system which enables the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 174 mph (280 km/h).

To rival BMW X6

The Mercedes-Benz MLC has been spied wearing the ML-Class skin while undergoing testing.

It's been a while since we last heard about the MLC so these spy shots come at the right time. Set to rival the BMW X6, the MLC will be out sometime in 2015 and will be interesting to see how this criticized yet popular body style is being envisioned by Mercedes-Benz.

We know so far it will ride on a modified ML-Class platform, hence these mules which might tempt you to say they are regular MLs. However, upon a closer inspection you will notice both front and rear axles are wider, while the chassis underneath seems to be a bit lower at the front section.

The car will allegedly be manufactured at a Mercedes-Benz factory in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where Daimler is investing 350M USD to create 400 new jobs to match the extra production. This is where they currently make the ML and GL models which will be joined next year by the new C-Class. The company decided last year to stop producing the peculiar R-Class at this plant.

Chances are a preview concept of the MLC will be shown next year before the production version arrives in 2015.

G-POWER M3 GTS 2013

G-Power has unveiled a revision to its upgrade program for the BMW M3 GTS, which is now even stronger and more efficient thanks to their supercharger system. The supercharger kit costs 23,500 EUR plus installation.

The GTS SK II Sporty Drive TU Supercharger system gives 650 hp / 478 kW at 7800 rpm and a torque of 630 Nm 3900 rpm. The BMW M3 GTS will sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.1 seconds, while 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h) takes 11.8 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 200.7 mph (323 km/h).

The package can be complemented by 20-inch SILVERSTONE CS forged alloys with Michelin tires priced at 7.437,00 (net) and the G-POWER ceramic breaking system for the front axle is 14.460,00 (net), respectively 11.778,00 (net) for the rear axle.

AC Schnitzer BMW M6 Cabriolet 2013

Germany based tuner AC Schnitzer revealed a new turning program for the BMW M6 Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe. AC Schnitzer has proved that the BMW M6 range has been designed for high performance and outstanding technology.

AC Schnitzer aerodynamic components provide more sportiness. The components include carbon front spoiler, chrome grille, a carbon fiber rear diffuser, a sports rear silencer with twin chromed "Sport Trim" tailpipes and weight-optimised 20 or 21 inch wheels which even at a standstill are indicative of the asphalt-hugging stance.

In the interior the motorsport atmosphere is elegantly maintained by the "Black Line" aluminium cover for BMW "i-Drive system controller", aluminium pedal set, aluminium footrests and floor mats in velours.

Zagato Aston Martin DBS Coupe Centennial 2013

Zagato has announced plans of two very special Aston Martins to pay tribute to the latter company's 100th Anniversary.

The two very special projects include the DBS Coupe Zagato Centennial, described as an exotic cross of Aston Martin DNA with Italian flair and Milanese inspiration and the DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial, built for American car collector Peter Read.

The DBS Coupe Zagato Centennial with the V12 powerplant was conceived for a young and prestigious Japanese entrepreneur. It features a stylish front fascia with a prominent grille and retro headlights. There's also a double bubble roof, a distinctive rear end and a unique greenhouse.

Maserati Ghibli 2014

Maserati has officially released a set of images for its latest sports executive sedan, the 2014 Maserati Ghibli. The Maserati Ghibli will make it public debut at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show later this month.

The Maserati Ghibli will be available with two turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 engines, an eight-speed automatic transmission and both rear-wheel drive and the new "Q4" all-wheel drive system.

The Ghibli will also become the first Maserati production car in history to be powered by a diesel engine, with a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel.

Audi RS7 Sportback 2014

Audi debuted the 2014 Audi RS7 Sportback at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show in Detroit. Aesthetic design, innovative technology and impressive sportiness are the terms to define the fascinating character of the RS 7 Sportback.

The RS 7 Sportback is powered by the twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter gasoline engine which develops awesome power, with 412 kW (560 hp) and a constant 700 Nm (516.29 lb-ft) of torque. The power unit is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission sending the power to the quattro AWD system. The new top model of the model series consumes on average just 9.8 liters of fuel per 100 km (24.00 US mpg).

The RS 7 Sportback sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in just 3.9 seconds. Audi limits the top speed in the standard configuration to 250 km/h (155.34 mph). Top speed with the optional dynamic package is 280 km/h (173.98 mph) and 305 km/h (189.52 mph) with the dynamic package plus.

Mini Vision Concept 2013

MINI has unveiled a new concept called "Vision" based on a virtual 3D hologram which showcases various elements of future MINI design.

The Glamorous Gold paint finish - a shimmering gold-tinged orange tone - has never been seen before in the history of MINI design. And the use of organo metal creates an intriguing contrast to this gleaming metallic shade.

The design of the MINI Vision reaches with future-focused aesthetic and technical innovations by a new-look hexagonal radiator grille. Both the bumper and auxiliary lights are integrated into the grille. Other elements include elliptical full-LED headlights, chrome strip wrapped around the top of the body, the distinctive side indicator element and the black band framing.

Porsche 911 GT3 2014

Porsche has officially unveiled the all-new fifth-generation 2014 Porsche 911 GT3 at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The new 911 GT3 is set to take on the pole position among thoroughbred Porsche sports cars with naturally aspirated engines.

Described as a fresh chapter in the arena of high performance sports cars, the 911 GT3 gets an aggressive front fascia with spoilers and optical LED headlights, extended side skirts, fixed rear wing, widened rear fenders, a new rear bumper, center-mounted dual exhaust system and 20" forged alloy wheels.

Power comes from a 3.8-litre six-cylinder flat engine developing 475 hp (350 kW) and 324 lb-ft (438 Nm) of torque. The engine is connected to a Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) double-clutch gearbox and high-traction rear-wheel drive. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and gets a top speed of 315 km/h (195 mph).

The new Porsche 911 GT3 is available to order now from Porsche Centres in the UK and Ireland priced from 100,540. First right hand-drive deliveries will arrive in November.

Brabus Mercedes S-Class 2014

Brabus has unveiled a new tuning program for the 2014 Mercedes S-Class. It will have its public debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September. It gets a dynamic appearance with the aerodynamic enhancement program.

The Brabus B63S receives a Gold Head Reflection system for the intake and charge-air pipes, two custom Brabus turbochargers with larger compressor units, a low-temperature water radiator for the intercooling stystem, a free-flow exhaust system with metal catalysts and 75 mm thick downpipes.

Brabus offers a sport exhaust system with controlled butterfly valve. Brabus designers are in the wind tunnel to develop a sporty-elegant body conversion kit. The components will be of PUR plastics or carbon fiber. Brabus offers a range of enhancements for the wheels including Monoblock alloy wheels with diameters of 19, 20 or even 21 inches.

Interior options for the new S-Class spans from scuff plates with Brabus logo to exclusive Brabus 'fine leather' interiors crafted from especially soft yet durable Brabus Mastik leather and the finest Alcantara. Inclusion includes a high-end multimedia system.

For added performance, the 4.7-liter V8 engine in the S500 can be outfitted with a 520 PowerXtra CGI performance kit which enables it to produce 520 HP (382 kW) and 820 Nm (604 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and hit a top speed of up to 300 km/h (186 mph).

S63 AMG owners can go for the 650 PowerXtra CGI package which enables the twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 engine to serve up to 650 HP (478 kW) and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque.

New Canada GP contract to be announced - report

Canada looks set to hold on to its popular place on the annual F1 schedule.

Montreal race promoter Francois Dumontier has sounded alarmed in recent weeks and months, as the backing of the event by the varying levels of Canadian government was holding up the signing of a new ten-year contract beyond 2014.

But La Presse, the French-language Quebec newspaper, said formula one will continue at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve until 2024, "barring a catastrophe".

"An announcement should be made tomorrow (Friday) at noon at the scene of the race," said correspondent Sebastian Templar, "ending negotiations that started almost two and half years ago."

Templar quoted a spokesperson for Quebec's tourism minister as hinting there "could be good news soon" regarding the Canadian grand prix.

And Radio Canada is also expecting the announcement to be made during a press conference on Friday.

Testing in the Swiss Alps

Our spies have sent us an additional batch of photos with the 2015 Volkswagen Caddy facelift.

This orange prototype was caught undergoing testing in the Swiss Alps sporting camouflage on the front and rear fascias. Changes will be moderate at best as Volkswagen will be applying only a minor facelift to keep it fresh until the all-new model will come out in 2017. The third generation went on sale in 2003 and received a facelift towards the end of 2010 and now it's about to get a makeover for the front grille, headlights and taillights as well as both bumpers.

Expect some updates inside the cabin which should pack better materials and revised technology and there could also be some changed under the hood where the 2015 Caddy facelift will probably receive updated engines with improved fuel efficiency and lower CO2 emissions.

An official reveal is likely programmed in the months to come, with sales to commence before the end of the year.

Ferrari adds engineer to end Raikkonen struggle

Ferrari has moved to end Kimi Raikkonen's 2014 troubles by giving him another race engineer.

The Toronto Sun newspaper reports that at the struggling 2007 world champion's side in Montreal this weekend is a Briton, David Lloyd.

The report said Lloyd, until now a factory-based test engineer with the Maranello team, is assisting Raikkonen's race engineer Antonio Spagnolo, an Italian.

"Ferrari did not say if the move would be temporary or permanent," said the report.

Spain's El Confidencial said the appointment of Lloyd - a Briton like Raikkonen's favourite engineer at McLaren and Lotus, Mark Slade - is aimed at improving the line of communication between the reticent Finn and the Ferrari team.

"Six races have passed and still Kimi is not comfortable with the car," said the report. "Something is wrong - is it the exchange of information between Kimi and Spagnolo?"

Carlos Sainz jr, a burgeoning Red Bull junior driver, said Raikkonen's struggle has been "the most surprising thing" of the 2014 season so far.

"I think the best drivers in formula one can even make a tricycle go fast. For me, adaptation is key," he explained.

Raikkonen said in Montreal that the 2014 title goal for Ferrari is already over.

"But within Ferrari we still want to do the best that we can at every race, we want to get stronger for the future and aim for the podium," he said.

Probably Ferrari's fastest car ever

The brutal track-only Ferrari FXX Evoluzione demonstrated its F1-style exhaust sound at Monza circuit. Several examples of the car were recently spotted by YouTube user 19Bozzy92.

The Evoluzione modification for the FXX uses a V12 engine that generates 860 PS (630 kW) at 9500 rpm. The theoretical top speed is 400 km/h (250 mph), which on paper is achieved in less than 40 seconds. The acceleration of 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) takes only 2.5 seconds.

Bugatti Veyron Jean-Pierre Wimille 2013

French luxury marquee, Bugatti will be introducing the "Les L gendes de Bugatti", an exclusive special edition of the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse that pays homage to six heroes of their successful history at the Monterey Auto Week in California next month.

The first Legend is dedicated to Jean-Pierre Wimille, who garnered two victories for Bugatti at Le Mans. It honors the driver who triumphed at 24 Hours of Le Mans for Bugatti in 1937 co-driving a 57G Tank with Robert Benoist. He also won in 1939 while co-driving a 57C Tank with Pierre Veyron.

Taking inspiration from the 57G from 1937 Le Mans, this Grand Vitesse has a blue clear-coated carbon fibre and a light Wimille Bleu paintwork finish. The interior references the essential characteristics of the classic models driven by those figures and to whom the edition pays homage.

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse is officially the fastest series roadster in the world since achieving 408.84 km/h (205.04 mph). It is powered by an eight-litre W16 engine delivering 1,200 PS and a torque of 1,500 Nm (at 3,000 - 5,000 rpm), and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in a lightening 2.6 seconds.

The production run for the Bugatti Legend "Jean-Pierre Wimille" will be limited to three vehicles. Pricing has not been disclosed yet.

Citroen C Elysee WTCC 2013

Citroen has released the first details of the 2013 C-Elysee WTCC, before its first public appearance at the 2013 Frankfort Motor Show in September.

The C-Elysee WTCC is quite simpy formidable with an integrated aerodynamic splitter, an aggressive front fascia with a carbon fiber front lip spoiler, widened front and rear wings and extended wheel arches. There are also 18-inch wheels with Yokohama tires.

The 2013 Citroen C-Elysee WTCC is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-litre direct injection four-cylinder engine that produces 380 bhp (283 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. The car comes with a front-wheel drive transmission, controlled by a six-speed sequential gearbox.

Citroen revealed today the first details on the C-Elysee WTCC that will race in the World Touring Car Championship starting in the 2014 racing season. The model has now begun an intensive testing regimen and will make its world debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. During the WTCC series the model will be driven by S bastien Loeb.

The model is based on the 2013 C-Elysee and has been is the first vehicle designed in accordance with new FIA regulations. The model is powered by the same 1.6-liter direct-injected, turbocharged engine found in the the DS3 WRC. It delivers a total of approximately 380 horsepower and will send its power to the front wheels via a six-speed sequential gearbox.

When compared to the standard version, the WTCC model is distinguished by a more aggressive aerodynamic kit that includes a new splitter, a redesigned front bumper with a prominent double chevron, new front and rear wings, and a set of 18-inch wheels.

BMW R75/7 by Clutch Custom

Clutch Custom is a Paris based company specialized on modifying motorcycles. The man behind this company is named Willie Knoll and its latest creation is a custom BMW R75/7.

The bike looks impressive and we'll have to admit that Mr. Knoll find the perfect balance between shapes, colors and components to give to this iconic model a fairly unique appearance.

Unlike the original model, the Clutch Custom version has a more minimalist style which makes it look more like a modern bike than a classic one.

The motorcycle benefited from a comprehensive list of upgrades and almost every component is fresh. The attention to detail is incredible and the catchiest elements are the blue fuel tank and the stylish brown leather seat.

The motorcycle's frame was lowered at the back end with 4cm, while the fork and the rake angle were also slightly modified. These tweaks give the motorcycle a sportier appearance and work great with the rest of the modifications.

We also need to send a shout at the classy rims that have been powder coated black, with black spokes and stainless nipples. The rims are shod in Coker diamond tires - 19/400 Front and 18/450 Rear.

Tough, reliable and adventurous, the Derbi Terra Adventure is ready to follow your lead with obedience every time you jump on its back.

The motorcycle weighs only 117 kg and is powered by a 124, 2 cc, single cylinder, 4 Stroke, 4V Euro 3 engine which develops a maximum power of 15 CV at 9.250 rpm. The engine sends its power to the ground through a six speed transmission with multi plate clutch.

Once on board you are greeted by a comfortable saddle, a high windshield and ergonomically designed handlebars with hand guards.

The motorcycle rides on 21'' front and 17'' rear rims shod in 90/90x 21" front 130/90 x 17" trail tyres.

Other features worthy of being mentioned include a shock absorber cover, rear monoshock and an aluminum protection for the crankcase, the engine and the frame.
