Innovative Mobility Colibri

Goes into production late 2014

German automaker Innovative Mobility will be presenting the Colibri electric vehicle starting tomorrow in Geneva.

The all-electric microcar is a single-seater powered by a 24 kW electric motor which draws its juice from a 6.5 kWh battery pack. It can travel for up to 110 km (68 miles) and reach a top speed of 120 km/h (74 mph).

The Colibri tips the scales at just 440 kg (970 lbs) and features gullwing doors. It is 2.75 meters long, 1.8 meters wide and 1.3 meters tall. Recharging the battery takes two hours when using a regular household outlet.

It is scheduled to go into production towards the end of next year.
