2016 Jaguar F-Pace spy photo / Automedia
Work continues on the 2016 Jaguar F-Pace as our spies have caught another prototype undergoing cold weather testing.
Set to become one the brand's most important models, the F-Pace is a stylish crossover that was previewed by the C-X17 concept. While the camouflage hides a lot of details, we can see the model will have a prominent grille, large air intakes and slender headlights. Moving further back, there's an upward sweeping belt line, muscular rear fenders and a tailgate-mounted spoiler.
Jaguar has been coy on technical specifications but the F-Pace is expected to ride on the iQ[Al] platform that underpins the XE. Engine options will likely carryover from the aforementioned model so expect an assortment of Ingenium four-cylinder options as well as a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 that develops 340 bhp (253 kW) and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque.
