Lexus LFA & RC F coupes drift around the Fuji Speedway [video]
Lexus Japan has released a video which highlights their high-performance F models.
Dubbed a "Dance of F," the clip shows an LFA, two RC F coupes and two RC F race cars as they drift around the Fuji Speedway and perform a number of stunts.
While the star of the video went out of production over two years ago, the RC F features a 5.0-liter V8 engine that produces 467 bhp (348 kW) and 389 lb-ft (526 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds, run the quarter mile in 12.5 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 170 mph (273 km/h).
Raikkonen on track for 2016 Ferrari deal - reports
Kimi Raikkonen (FIN) / XPB Kimi Raikkonen is on track to securing a deal to stay at Ferrari beyond 2015.
When he rejoined Maranello from Lotus for 2014, the Finn signed a two-year contract.
Raikkonen, 35, struggled last year but is happier with this year's car alongside his new teammate and friend Sebastian Vettel.
"I could not imagine a better driver pairing," team boss Maurizio Arrivabene said in China last weekend.
It is believed Raikkonen's current Ferrari contract includes an 'option' for 2016 that must be triggered by Ferrari.
According to the Ferrari insider and blogger Leo Turrini, the Maranello team is currently considering doing just that.
And the F1 broadcaster Sky Italia is reporting similarly, adding that "the final decision will be taken on the basis of the next few races".

Cadillac has taken the wraps off the 2016 ELR which comes
with a plethora of upgrades.
Stylish but unpopular due to its exorbitant price tag, the
ELR has received a makeover for the 2016 model year, starting with the
lithium-ion battery which has increased in capacity from 16.5 kWh to 17.1 kWh. This has boosted electric range from 37 miles (60 km) to 39 miles (63 km)
while total range has decreased from 340 miles (547 km) to 330 miles (530 km). Once
the battery is depleted, a full recharge from a 240V source takes approximately
five hours.
Power has been lifted by more than 25% to 233 bhp (174 kW)
and 373 lb-ft (506 Nm) of torque which has shaved off 1.6 seconds from the 0-60
mph (0-96 km/h) that now takes in 6.4 seconds (with Performance Package). The
standard model tops out at 106 mph (170 km/h) while adding the optional Performance
Package will increase maximum speed to 130 mph (209 km/h).
The optional kit brings 20-inch sport wheels with
summer-only performance tires, front four-piston Brembo brake calipers with 13.6-inch
front vented rotors & 12.4-inch rear vented rotors, along with a sport
steering wheel and further calibration of the Continuous Damping Control and
electric power steering systems.
The list of changes doesn't end here as the 2016 ELR also
comes with an updated HiPer Strut front suspension, increased front
spring rates & stiffer rear axle, stiffer bushings and a front bumper
rebound spring. Moving inside, it gets three USB ports, 8-inch configurable
instrument and driver information displays, sueded microfiber headliner,
semi-aniline full leather seating and Power-assist covered storage/cup holder
in the center console.
Featuring a revised front grille and the company's new
crest, the first-gen Volt-based 2016 ELR will kick off at $58,495, after applying U.S. federal tax credits. This makes it considerably cheaper compared to the $67,500 2014MY after all the discounts.

Arriving at Auto Shanghai next week
German tuner Startech has transformed the Range Rover into a
pickup for this year's Auto Shanghai show which kicks off next week.
April Fools' Day was two weeks ago so this pickup Range
Rover is as real as it gets and represents the work of Startech who decided to
turn the large and luxurious SUV into a more utilitarian high-end pickup riding on
massive 23-inch wheels and packed with carbon fiber all around. No less than
100 bespoke components made from aluminum, steel and carbon fiber were tailor
made for this project and it also benefits from a plastic-lined bed providing a
load length of 110 cm. Opening the tailgate (by button or remote control) will
add 60cm for carrying cargo on the pickup's bed which has been welded to the
new shorter roof.
Startech also installed 80mm wider fenders, a custom roof
spoiler, additional LED lighting and various carbon fiber inserts while the
custom suspension can lower the pickup's ride height by 30mm. There's also a
custom exhaust system adding 16 PS (12 kW), thus bumping output of the
V8 5.0-liter supercharged engine to 526 PS (387 kW). It's enough muscle
to grant a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 5.3 seconds and an
electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
The Range Rover pickup will be offered with all engines as
well as with a plethora of interior and exterior customizations. Startech says they will bring it to Auto Shanghai 2015 which kicks off next week.
